BCBSM "Lunch Buddies"

Closure Party

Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Care Network of Michigan (BCBSM) held their annual closure party for all of the "Lunch Buddies" participants.  BCBSM participates in BBBS of Greater Lansing's "Lunch Buddies" with Verlinden Elementary School.  Staff of BCBSM visit their "Lunch Buddies at Verlinden during their lunch hour to play games, talk, or help them with their homework.  BCBSM was the first company to participate in the "Lunch Buddies" program through BBBS of Greater Lansing. 

At the closure party, Big Lug came to wish the kids a good summer and to hang out. This party allows the volunteers and the kids to say good bye at the end of the year and to let the kids know that  friendships can end on a good note.
